equilibrium
equilibrium: a study to identify user needs and design opportunities for self-care and self-reflective practice.
the research for this project involved collecting data to identify user needs. design solutions were then developed as per identified requirements. the project focused on exploring the concept of wellbeing from multiple perspectives. subjects kept a daily diary of their wellness on both-mental and physical levels. before and after this intervention they were asked to fill out two surveys detailing their experiences. material from these interviews and a collection of the subject’s observations during the two weeks of study helped me dig deeper into the issues faced by them. the detailed research and interview helped analyze the subjects’ issues and address them in a more coherent and structured manner resulting in a valid design solution. final outcome was an app – ‘equilibrium’, which enabled the subject to stay focused and in control of his daily activities and well-being.
